Lower Account Risk with Higher FDIC Limits
Effective October 3, 2008, the FDIC increased the amount of insurance coverage for deposit accounts from $100,000 to $250,000 until December 31, 2009. In addition, effective October 14, 2008, all non-interest bearing transaction deposit accounts at Integrity Bank will be fully insured for the entire amount of the deposit account balance. This applies to both commercial as well as consumer accounts and will also expire December 31, 2009.

All FDIC insured institutions will be covered under the program for non-interest bearing deposit transaction accounts for a period of 30 days subsequent to October 14, 2008, during which time banks must inform the FDIC if they will opt-out of the program. If a bank opts out, the extended insurance coverage will expire for that bank at the end of the 30-day period, regardless of the term of any deposit instrument.
